Now I like Google’s products as much as the next lonely son-of-a-gun, but c’mon—do we really need another Twitter/Facebook?

Indulge me for a second here.

Buzz is like the lonely red-headed step child of the unholy union that would be TwitBook. Throw me an update, throw me a link, toss me a photo, give me a glimpse of all you do on the net.

It’s a smorgasbord of your web photos, your blog, your updates, your locations, and your friends and family. All this and no real consideration for privacy. Tisk tisk.

Immortal Iron Fist and the Exoskeletal Glove

Sounds like a match made in Heaven, doesn’t it?

But no, no no no no no. This is not a Marvel event seven years in the making.

Rather this is exoskeletal glove that allows you to go into a controlled slide at higher speeds than you could before.

Two things about this product:

1. This doesn’t help those people that this unfortunate incident has already happened to

2. Everyone that rides a motorcycle dangerously does so because they’ve never gotten into an accident before.

I once had a woman actually say to me, “I’ve never hit you before, so I’m not going to slow down.” People are stupid.

P.S. I think the Iron Fist did go into a controlled slide and that’s how he got his powers. Check out this video and look at the burn marks on his hand. Too bad he didn’t use the Iron Fist Glove.

Congress Bends the Rules

If we don’t pass these laws people will die. But if we don’t bend these laws then we can’t pass this law…and people will die.

Is it just me or do people just die, sorta, no matter what? Am I being cold here?

So what’s the story with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Attorney General Buddy Caldwell, you may ask?

Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says Louisiana will file a lawsuit challenging the national health care legislation passed by Congress Thursday.

Governor Bobby Jindal, who supports the move, said Monday that he believes the national health care bill approved by Congress Sunday is unconstitutional.

"It's a bad bill for Louisiana, a bad bill for America," Jindal said.

"This is a huge overreach," Jindal said during a Monday afternoon news conference. "I believe it would violate the constitutional rights of our people."

So there. NYAAHHH!!! In your face…laws and…congress and…jerk-wads!

Pride & Prejudice & Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls

Oh, if my mom were dead, she'd be turning over in her grave. Much like Jane Austen. But unlike her, she will not need to have her head cut off because she is not dead....but Jane Austen is...I--I...oh forget it.

I'm not much for movie trailers for books that are not going to be turned into movies, nevertheless this one's a doosey. The Bennet girls fend off bloodthirsty zombies in this colonial England prequel to the smash hit book: Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.

I'm really at a loss for words here. At first I thought it was a movie trailer for a movie that would make ungodly amounts of money because it is just a passing meme (amazingly awesome, but still just passing). Yet, Sense & Sensibility prevailed (ya see what I did there? eh...nevermind)

7 Very Extinct Predators

I don’t know why we dwell on the past. It hardly seems relevant. Sure we may be able to learn a little bit from say, I don’t know, the Carter administration about economics…but everything else is useless, frivolous knowledge.

So the question is if these predators are dead why give you the pictures to let you worry about them?
